Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing, rejuvinationg style of Yoga.We get really, really comfortable using props like a Bolster and Blocks. Movements are slow and it’s a way to go deep into a meditative state. Restorative Yoga works on the Parasympathetic Nervous System. That’s the Rest and Digest system and a way to balance a hectic, fast paced life. This form of Yoga is very soothing and calming for body , mind and soul.Allow some YOU TIME.
Matt and myself (Theresa) have picked the special event of the Blue Moon to do this EVENING Full Moon Restorative Collaboration. We have been working together for a few months now doing this collaboration during the day. We are excited to share this sensory experience at night in the Landsborough Community Hall .
Full Moons have a huge impact on us. Just like the drawing effect on the tides- at a Full Moon we also (as humans are largely made up of water)experience this pull. Taking time to be still and allowing whatever to come up can be challenging and uncomfortable. Feel safe and supported letting go. It’s easy to get lost in Matts Music and the slow gentle movements of the Restorative Yoga. Matt is able to create a myriad of sounds using his Keyboard, Handpan, Russian Rav Drum, Singing Bowl, Tibetan Bells and Jupiter Gong.
